90’s and 2000’s “otaku” culture was wild. We consumed EVERYTHING we could get our hands on. Comic shops carrying single issues of Ranma, catching Toonami after school, browsing fan sites through the Anime Web Turnpike. Weebs took the scraps they could get from Glorious Nippon and formed a community. And you know what people like to gloss over about those days? Porn played a huge part of that community. And I think that’s an interesting part of the industry and culture.

OLDTACO is my first attempt at an “adult” zine. Made as an expression of love for a handful of classic and new ero media. 36 pages of essays and art about some stuff I was always afraid to admit I dig until now.
